2Fast: 2011 Season Has Begun!
Despite the saddening forecast, the first 2Fast track day for 2011 actually turned out pretty nice. The track was dry for a few hours, and there was a decent turnout for the New Racer School that preps the incoming novices for WMRRA. The track day group had a blast with an extra long session set up for them to accommodate the turnout. There were a few incidents during the day that caused some hiccups in the flow of things, but with the involvement of the staff and some willing customers, the track was cleared in no time. It’s always cool to see folks working hard to get the track cleared for everyone to have a blast.
For the new season, some changes have had to be made to reflect the current times and personal situations. Mainly concerning the price of the galleries and my attendance outside of our local Pacific Raceways track days. Galleries are now available for purchase at $45 (with the standing $10 donation from each gallery purchase going to the Airfence Fund still in effect), and individual downloads for $5. I also won’t be able to attend as many Portland days as I wish I could, with there being so many track days scheduled (12 of them!) and so little time off from the day job. Besides, I think Ben from XQSME Photography, Scott from Onsight Productions, Matt from Roadshow Photography, and some others have got the bases covered for Portland. So if you don’t see me talking about having taken pictures in Portland, chances are that I wasn’t able to make it. So check out the other guys to see if they happened to get out there that day.
With that out of the way, on with the pictures! You can find your galleries from March 16 here. For more information, visit this page or feel free to contact me.
