Rock Climbing at Deception Pass…

A couple months back, Shelly volunteered to survey some bats out at Deception Pass on Whidbey Island. The project involved some serious climbing for her and the guides while I sat comfortably on the ground taking pictures. It was a nice hike out, and I actually learned a lot about basic mountain climbing gear, which gets me a bit more excited when I finally dive into rock climbing.

There’s more pictures here.

365 Project: Photo Dump

So, obviously I’ve fallen behind on my 365 Project. No good excuses at all – just poor time management on my part, and the fact that I’m easily distracted by shiny objects.

So this is me trying to make up for the past couple months that I’ve missed. You can see the full photo dump here.

I realize, now that I’m going through this short collection, that I was around snow a lot. And it was cold. And dreary. For a long time. Here’s to the sun finally showing its beautiful face.

Let’s see if I can’t get this project going again.

Some people walk in the rain…

… others just ride. It was a wet, low-attendance day, but it wasn’t short on fun.

The misty rain came down on the 2Fast day like a flaky blind date. Not that I’d know what that’s like.
