Talk about an eventful day… Last Saturday’s 2Fast event featured a Performance School dedicated solely to women riders in the community, and the turn out was awesome. So awesome, in fact, that the awesomeness overwhelmed some of the folks, and the riding got to their heads. None too serious injuries, but I imagine there’ll be a lot of buffing out and parts hunting going on in the next couple weeks.
A great day with 2Fast was had at Pacific Raceways, with the rain staying away for a nice, dry track. The Performance Schoolwas super packed, but the rest of the sessions were traffic free and easy going, with no incidents that I can recall (besides a Superman incident that occurred shortly after I started for home). :)
It was a great day to be out with 2Fast at Pacific Raceways, and I was happy to be out there again shooting after a stint of illness and needing to be at my day job. I even got to ride a bit myself, but unfortunately, I was hit with a motor gremlin and only got to ride my own bike for a few laps. Thanks to buddy Timmeh, though, I got to experience a GSXR for the first time on the track. That was a horrible idea, because now I’m eyeing Suzukis for a next possible track bike. I’m not sure if that make’s Tim a bad friend or not.
Anyway, pictures! I’m trying out a different system this time out, which will hopefully get pictures up sooner after the event. Read: a few days, instead of a week plus, for me to get all the photos uploaded. You’ll have to visit the 2Fast Gallery Page yourself to find out about how the new system works. Let me know what you think about it.

And before I leave you with some sample shots, I’d like to give a big thanks to Jason Tanaka for helping me cover this year’s 2Fast track season. He has been and will be out there as much as I am, with all the track day dates this year, making sure that each Washington 2Fast event is well covered for photography. If you can’t find coverage in my galleries, you’ll more than likely find it on his site. Give him a hug, when you see him out there in his camo gear.
